Sustainable Environment

Lincotec remains steadfast in its commitment to 'creating value for society,' propelling the advancement and development of domestic industrial technology in alignment with the government's 'Net Zero Carbon Emissions by 2050' policy. The company actively pursues the goal of 'zero emissions and reducing secondary pollution' through environmentally friendly and zero-emission processes.

In 2021, the company expanded its investments, focusing on the development of products related to semiconductor material applications, specifically in thin-film heat dissipation substrates using semiconductor process technology. The company transitioned to a dry and environmentally friendly process, replacing traditional wet processes, thus reducing the emission of toxic substances and avoiding industrial pollution.

Lincotec issues a statement on the refusal to use 'conflict minerals':

'Conflict minerals' refer to minerals mined in conditions of armed conflict and human rights abuses, including tin (Sn), tantalum (Ta), tungsten (W), and gold (Au), essential raw materials for electronic products.

Due to the potential use of conflict minerals as a source of funding for non-governmental armed forces, leading to armed conflicts, human rights violations, and environmental damage, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) passed the Dodd-Frank Conflict Minerals Act (DFCM) on 8/22/2012. The European Union also published Regulation (EU) 2017/821 on 5/19/2017, and the OECD released the Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Supply Chains of Minerals from Conflict-Affected and High-Risk Areas to regulate access to conflict minerals.
